Return Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not happy for any reason, you may return the Item(s) for a refund, exchange, or store credit, subject to the conditions below.
1. Return Window
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return. Item(s) postmarked after this 30-day window will not be accepted.
2. Condition of Returned Items
To be eligible for a return, your Item(s) must meet the following criteria:

Unworn and Unused: The item must be in its original, unworn, and unused condition.

Original Tags Attached: All original tags and labels must be firmly attached to the garment.

Free of Odors and Damage: Items must be free of any stains, marks, damage, pet hair, deodorant marks, or strong odors (such as perfume or smoke).

Original Packaging: While not always required, returning the item in its original packaging is highly encouraged.
Note: Returns that do not meet these conditions may be refused and sent back to the customer.
3. Return Options
When your return is accepted, you can choose one of the following options:

| Exchange | You can exchange the item for a different size or color of the same style, subject to inventory availability. |
| Store Credit | Store credit will be issued in the form of a gift card or online voucher. |
4. Return Shipping

Returns for Refund/Exchange: The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. Castaway Shades does not provide pre-paid return labels unless the item is defective or incorrect.

(Alternative Option: We offer free return shipping for exchanges or store credit, but require the customer to pay for shipping if a refund is requested.)

Defective or Incorrect Items: If you received a damaged, defective, or incorrect shirt, please contact us immediately. In these cases, we will provide a free return label and cover all shipping costs.
5. How to Initiate a Return

Email Us: Send an email to castawayshades@gmail.com with your Order Number and the details of the item(s) you wish to return.

Receive Authorization: We will reply with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and detailed instructions for packaging and mailing your item(s).

Ship: Mail the item(s) back to us using a trackable shipping method to ensure its safe arrival.
6. Processing Time
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email notification. Refunds are typically processed within 5-7 business days of receiving the returned item. Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to post the refund to your account.
